I had a problem that audio books chapters would would be ordered differently than supposed, the advice here solved the problem:

the idea is to place them in a playlist in itunes and then order them correctly

... because my quicktime-plugin do nothing on screencast i used charles-proxy to grab the final video url and download it. the quality is fine but my only problem now there is no sound. so i've to wait for your update :-( ... thanks

yeah. It is pretty complicated, but I am a bit of a perfectionist in areas. The problem with most programs (like Splasm's) is the inability to edit out the overlap that most audiobooks have between discs and many don't do chapters properly; I think splasm's only puts the chapter breaks at the disc breaks.

I looked at all this and (for my Economist audio audition subscription, e.g.) decided it was too much work. I ponied up the $10 for Splasm's Audiobook Builder. Well worth it, I think, if you need to do this more than a few times.
